Angelica developed an interest in singing at a very young age and began to get into singing classes and participated in various singing competitions. In 2017, she tried her luck in the talent show, America’s Got Talent in its 12th edition, and made it past the audition round with the song titled Rise. Angelica has been through all at a very young age when she was four years old; she got bacterial pneumonia, which caused the failure of multiple organs. As a result, her kidneys failed and needed an immediate transplant and miracle to survive. Despite the odds, her mother, Eva, gave her kidney to save her daughter’s life. She survived after staying at the hospital for nearly a year and a half.
As of now, Angelica is the spokesperson for the Sepsis Alliance campaign to spread awareness about Sepsis. Currently, she lives with her family in Atlanta, USA.
