Anthony Castonzo is a former American football offensive tackle who spent his entire 10-year professional football career with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League. He was one of the highest paid athletes and one of the best offensive tackles. He announced his retirement from the NFL on 12 January 2021.
Originally from Des Plaines, Illinois, Anthony Castonzo was born on 09 August 1988 under the star sign Leo. The 32-year-old former NFL player is American by nationality and belongs to Italian and Native American ethnicity. He attended Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia and later enrolled at Boston College.

In the 2013 season, Castonzo started 16 consecutive games, allowing only four sacks and 62 quarterback pressures. He helped the Colts finish first in the AFC South win with an impressive 11-5 record. During the 2014 season, he started all 16 games and played 1,115 snaps, allowing only two sacks and 36 quarterback pressures. He helped the Colts finish first in their division with an 11-5 record.
Castonzo signed a new four-year, $43.81 million contract with the Colts, which included $18 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $14 million. After starting ten games, he missed three games in the 2015 season because of a knee sprain. The Colts finished second in the AFC South with an 8-8 record.
In the 2016 and 2017 season, Castonzo started all 16 games as the Colts finished third in the AFC South with an 8-8 record and a 4-12 record respectively. He missed the first six games due to a hamstring injury in the 2018 season. However, he started the final 11 games at left tackle after making his season debut in Week 8.
Castonzo signed a two-year, $33 million contract extension with the Colts on 15 March 2020. Due to an injured ankle, he missed the remaining of the 2020 season. On 12 January 2021, he announced his retirement from the NFL.
