On 17 January 2021, Leifso announced her engagement to Karan via Instagram. The lovebirds haven’t shared their wedding plans yet, but all that matters is that the two seems to have a perfect relationship.

After moving to Vancouver at the age of 17, Leifso shared her first apartment with her then-boyfriend, who worked on the Alberta oil rigs. The two lived in a two-bedroom unit for $875 a month. But she and her boyfriend grew in different directions, and she later found herself living alone in a basement suite in Surrey, B.C.
At the age of 20, Leifso started dating an entrepreneur, who was in his 40s. Later, she discovered that her boyfriend struggled with cocaine addiction. His actions eventually started becoming unpredictable and dangerous, which led to an abusive relationship.
