Kim Yugyeom is a South Korean singer and dancer, best known as one of the members of the boy group GOT7 and leader of the duo JUS2. The multi-talented artist also choreographs dances, writes songs, raps, and does modeling too. In March 2021, he will be featured in ELLE KOREA.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Kim Yugyeom was born on 17 November 1997 under the star sign Scorpio. The 23-year-old singer is South Korean by nationality and belongs to Asian Ethnicity. He attended Donong Elementary School and Migeum Middle School. He then majored in Street Dance from Hamlin Arts High School and enrolled at Daekyeong University, majoring in Modeling.

Before debuting, Yugyeom appeared in multiple dance competitions and won second place at the Adrenaline House Dance Battle in 2011. He also made a cameo appearance in an episode of Mnet’s 2013 reality survival program WIN: Who is Next.
Yugyeom made his official debut as a member of the k-pop boy group GOT7 with their first Ep Got It? on 16 January 2014. The Ep was a massive success and peaked at number one on Billboard’s World Album Chart. Following the EP, all members of GOT7 were featured in a web drama series Dream Knight.
In 2016, the dancer competed in Mnet’s Hit The Stage and won 1st place during the final episode. He then debuted as a songwriter with See The Light for GOT7’s Flight Log: Departure album. The group has since released albums such as The Way You Are, No Way, I Don’t Know, YOU, Used To Blame, To Me, and more.
Yugyeom also debuted as one half of the duo JUS2 with the mini-album Focus in March 2019. Besides, he has appeared in reality shows like Law of The Jungle and The King of Mask Singer. After seven years of contract with JYP Entertainment, he signed with the record label AOMG in February 2021.
As a maknae of the boy group GOT7 and leader of the duo JUS2, Yugyeom has bagged a decent sum of money. As of December 2020, his net worth is estimated at $5 million.
