Michelle LeClair, an American author, made the headlines for her new memoir, Perfectly Clear where she shared the humiliation she suffered after coming out as gay. Previously, she was the poster girl for Scientology and contributed millions to the Church of Scientology through her life-insurance firms.

After she decided to come out as gay, she faced humiliations from the Church and was thrown into turmoil. She had joined the Church at a young age of 19 as her mother was also part of the Church. Before joining the Church, she told the officer about her relationship with a girl in high school. The founder of Scientology wrote a letter stating homosexuals are the lowest of low, and Michelle decided not to like girls from then onwards. However, she needed 25 signatures from Scientology members to get back in the Church. After getting back to Church, she held her feelings to herself and carried on with her life.

Michelle is in a relationship with a famous music producer, Tena Clark. Both are openly gay, and they first met during her neighbor’s birthday in 2008. After a year, they met again through a mutual friend and began their relationship as friends. Later that year, their relationship went on a new level, but Tena did not commit to the Church.

After the Church found out about her relationship, she faced obligations from the Church. In her memoir, she told that her love for Tena helped her to get out from the Church. As of 2019, Michelle lives with Tena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Previously, Michelle was married to a guy named, Sean Seward in 1994 and had four kids Sage, Savannah, and twins, Jadon and London. Their relationship was not going well and threatened the Church to stop her donations and finally got divorced from him.
