He is the first one before Mustafizur Rahaman from Bangladesh taking 20 wickets on 2019 ICC World Cup. Not only this, the 29-years-old fast baller took 5-5 wickets against New Zealand and West Indies as well.

Born in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia, Mitchell Starc celebrates his birthday on 30 January 1990. He is the son of Paul Starc, but his mother’s name is unknown. Belonging to Australian nationality and Caucasian by ethnicity, he was raised by his parents alongside his brother, Brandon and two sisters Amanda and Tay. He earned his education from Home Bush Boys High School in Sydney.

Not only this, he scored 99 runs against India during the 2013 test match.

Mitchell also is the man behind winning the 2015 World Cup tournament and receiving Man of the Tournament award. He even broke the world record of Pakistani bowler, Saqlain Mushtaq by taking 100 wickets in 52 matches than 100 wickets in 53 games. Later, the record was broken by Afghanistan bowler Rashid Khan, who took 100 wickets in just 44 innings.

In 2019 Cricket World Cup, Mitchell is named in Australia’s squad. During the game, he has become the quickest bowler to take 150 wickets in ODIs in his 77th game. Moreover, he was the first bowler to take five wickets to haul against New Zealand at the Cricket World Cup. Besides World Cup, he is serving for Sydney Sixers as left-arm fast bowler since 2011.
