Ricky Gervais is a British comedian, actor, director, and writer best known for co-creating, co-writing, and acting in The Office. He is also famous as Tony Johnson, the lead character that he portrays in the Netflix comedy series After Life.

Originally from Reading, Berkshire, England, Ricky Dene Gervais was born on June 25, 1961, making him a Cancer. Ricky Gervais was born to parents – Lawrence Raymond “Jerry” Gervais and Eva Sophia. His Franco-Ontarian father emigrated to the UK whilst on foreign duty during the Second World War.
