Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel is a German professional football manager who is the current head coach of the FC Bayern Munich. He previously replaced the club legend, Frank Lampard, and became the first German to manage Chelsea. He has often been nicknamed “The Professor” in his long-running managerial career. 

Originally from Krumbach, West Germany, Thomas Tuchel was born on August 29, 1973, under the star sign Virgo. As a player, Tuchel first played for a local club, TSV Krumbach, from 1979 to 1988. He joined FC Augsburg in 1988 but never made it to the first team and was released in 1992. He then played for Stuttgarter Kickers and SSV Ulm before retiring in 1999, at age 26, after suffering a knee cartilage injury.

The German tactician began his coaching career in 2000, working for the youth teams at VfB Stuttgart for five years.
