American actor Willie Garson, best known for playing Stanford Blatch on the hit HBO series “Sex and the City”, passed away at the age of 57. He had appeared in over 300 TV episodes and more than 75 films. His latest role was in the 2020 film “Magic Camp,” where he appeared as a Casino Manager.
Originally from Highland Park, New Jersey, William Garson Paszamant was born on February 20 1964, under the star sign Pisces. The 57-year-old actor was Jewish by ethnicity. He added:
“Love you more than you will ever know, and I’m glad you can be at peace now. You always were the toughest and funniest, and smartest person I’ve known. I’m glad you shared your love with me. I’ll never forget it or lose it.”
Garson’s last Tweet pointed to his aura on an off-screen. On September 4, he tweeted:
“BE KIND TO EACH OTHER……ALWAYS. LOVE TO ALL. APPROACH KINDNESS.”
Garson’s former colleagues and friends expressed their love for the actor in the wake of his passing.
Garson’s on-screen husband in Sex and the City, Mario Cantone, called Garson a “brilliant TV partner” in a heartfelt post:
“I’m devastated and just overwhelmed with Sadness. Taken away from all of us way soon. You were a gift from the gods,” he wrote. “Rest my sweet friend. I love you.”
Garson had pancreatic cancer. He most likely died because of cancer. He was surrounded by his family members at the time of his death.
