Unfortunately, Carmeon announced that her husband was killed in a motorcycle accident in Memphis on August 28. She told the news on August 29 writing,

“It is with deep sorrow and an eternally broken heart that I tell you that the love of my life, Marcus Hamilton, has passed away. I was alerted by MPD late last night that Marcus succumbed to his injuries after being hit by an intoxicated driver while on his motorcycle yesterday afternoon.”

According to the police, her husband was knocked from his motorcycle in the opposite direction. The other driver was arrested and was under the influence of drugs and intoxication. Carmeon’s husband was pronounced dead by the time emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

Carmeon and her husband met while they were students at the University of Central Arkansas. The pair married on September 10, 2011, and moved to Memphis in 2013. They also share a 12-year-old son, Davis.
