Giuliana Rancic

Giuliana Rancic is an entertainment journalist, author, and television personality best known as the host of the internationally watched entertainment news show, E! News. She is the winner of the Fan Favorite Award at the 2014 Daytime Emmy Awards and the New York Times best-selling author. 

Originally from Naples, Italy, Giuliana Rancic was born on 17 August 1974 under the star sign Leo. The 50-year-old entertainment reporter is American by nationality and belongs to a mixed ethnicity, having British, Irish, and Italian ancestry. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. Later, she enrolled at American University and completed her master’s degree in journalism.

Rancic is happily married to her longtime husband, Bill Rancic. Her husband is an entrepreneur by profession.

After dating for some time, Bill proposed to the E! News co-anchor for marriage on 15 December 2006. The two tied the knot almost a year on 01 September 2007 at Sancta Sophia Church in Anacapri.

Since the beginning of 2009, Rancic tried to conceive but had fertility issues. So, she began in vitro fertilization and got pregnant in the spring of 2010. Unfortunately, she miscarried at nine weeks. In November 2010, she had an IVF transfer for a second time, but the procedure didn’t result in pregnancy. Her doctor then recommended a mammogram for the third round of IVF. But she found out that she had breast cancer.

Despite the condition, the couple continued with the egg retrieval and found a surrogate. Finally, they welcomed a son, Edward Duke Rancic, in late August 2012 via a gestational surrogate.
