Jaren was born in 1998 in Spanish Fork, Utah. He celebrates his birthday on March 25, which makes his age 23. Jaren holds American nationality and comes from mixed ethnicity of White and African-American.

Jaren already had an amazing football career during his time at maple Mountain High School. During his three years with the Golden Eagles, he passed for 5,109 yards and 52 TDs while also rushing for 659 yards. Upon committing to Bronco Mendenhall’s staff as part of the 2016 recruiting class, Bronco left for Virginia, and Jaren was re-recruited by Kalani Sitake and Ty Detmer. Likewise, Hall earned QB MVP honors at the Las Vegas Rivals Camp Series in 2015.
Jaren arrived at BYU in the spring of 2018. He was both in the football program and an outfielder on the BYU baseball team. He had hit a grand slam in 2020 against New Mexico but put his baseball on hold in 2021. During his freshman year, Jaren became the third QB, and in 2019, he took most of the first-team snaps at QB during spring practices. In 2019, he was also the first Black American to start as quarterback for the Cougars. He started in two games during the 2019 season but had to exit early due to concussion protocol. Jaren is married to his beautiful wife, Breanna Hall. His wife is a former Utah valley soccer player. While it’s not sure when the pair started dating, their pictures date back to December 2018 when Breanna shared a picture of the duo writing,

Jaren first featured his wife in January of 2019 with a picture of the duo in front of a Christmas tree. Nonetheless, Jaren and Breanna were engaged in July 2019 and tied the knot on December 6, 2019.
Moreover, the married pair welcomed a daughter, Jayda Mae Hall, on July 4, 2021. Jaren resides happily with his wife and newborn daughter.
