Jonathan LaPaglia is an internationally acclaimed actor best known for his plum hosting gig on Australian Survivor and his role in the television drama Love Child. Two years later, LaPaglia got his first break when he was cast in the television series New York Undercover. He then played the role of Lt. Frank B. Parker on Seven Days from 1998 until 2001 and Detective Kevin Debreno on The District from 2001 to 2004. He also made guest appearances in series such as The Sopranos, NCIS, Cold Case, and Castle.

LaPaglia made his first appearance in an Australian production in 2011, starring as the protagonist Hector in the TV adaptation of Christos Tsiolkas’ novel The Slap. He then played Anthony “Rooster” Perish in Channel Nine’s Underbelly: Badness. He also starred in the 2014 film The Reckoning alongside Luke Hemsworth.
