Jordan Stephens is a British musician and actor best known as one-half of hugely successful musical duo Rizzle Kicks. He is also a writer and speaker who talks about mental health and adverse effects of Toxic Masculinity. In 2020, he made it to the headlines after the Little Mix star Jade Thirwall confirmed their relationship.

Originally from Brighton, United Kingdom, Jordan Stephens was born on the 25th of January 1992 under the star sign Aquarius. The 32-year-old singer is British by nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity as his father has African heritage, and his mother is Caucasian.

Stephens is one-half of hugely successful hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks, alongside band member Harley Sylvester. The band released their debut album Stereo Typical on 31 October 2011 under the record label Island Records.

Their most popular songs are Mama Do The Hump, Miss Cigarette, and Down With The Trumpets. The band sold over a million singles and over 300,000 albums in the UK alone.

Stephens is now known under the stage name Wildhood and AI the Native. He released his debut solo EP, Vert, on 16 March 2016. After a three year hiatus, he returned to music with his next solo five-track EP Pain Is Good. 

Stephens has also ventured into acting and has starred in several productions. He made his first acting gig in E4’s dark drama Glue and later starred in Last Vegas in 2013 and Shaun the Sheep Movie in 2015.  In 2016, Stephens was cast in an American epic space opera film Rogue One. Besides, he also appeared on Celebrity Island in 2017. He also hosted the third season of ITV2 music-based panel show Don’t Hate the Playaz in 2020.

Stephens has earned quite a fortune from his singing, writing, and acting career. As of 2024, his net worth is estimated at $3 million.

Stephens is in a romantic relationship with singer-songwriter, Jade Thirlwall. The couple began dating in May 2020, but the pair initially opted for a low-key relationship. His girlfriend, Thirlwall, confirmed their relationship in October 2020.

Stephens and his girlfriend, Thirlwall, made their first public appearance at a Trans Black Lives Matter march. They have also been snapped on holiday together in Venice.

The pair has otherwise been entirely private about their relationship. They rarely post footage of each other on their social media accounts.

The musical artist was born to parents Herman Stephens and Emma Boulting. His parents are both musicians and lend their vocals on some of the tracks on Rizzle Kicks’ 2013 album Roaring 20s. His father even played bass in the duo’s live band.
