Alejandro Fernandez is one of the best-selling Latin music artists who is nicknamed “El Potrillo.” He has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and awarded two Latin Grammy Awards. 

Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Alejandro Fernandez was born on April 24, 1971, under the star sign Taurus. The 53-year-old singer is Mexican by nationality and belongs to the Hispanic ethnicity. He studied to become an architect but turned into a singer.

He then went on to release several albums such as Mi Verdad, Origenes, Viento a Favor, Confidencias, Rompiendo Fronteras, and Hecho en Mexico. 

Apart from singing, Alejandro is co-owner of a shopping center in Guadalajara called Unicenter. Together with his family, he also owns Arena VFG, which has a capacity of 11,000 people.

Alejandro has earned millions of dollars from his professional career. He is one of the richest singers in Mexico. As of 2024, Alejandro has an estimated net worth of $20 million.

Alejandro has had a hell of a love life. He first walked down the aisle with his first love, America Guinart. The two tied the knot in 1992 and later welcomed three children – Alejandro Jr. and the twins America and Camila. Although it seemed that they had the perfect marriage, they split in 1998 but maintain a very close relationship to date.

After splitting with his wife, Alejandro took refuge in the arms of the Colombian model Ximena Diaz in 1998. Diaz gave him his last two children – Emiliano and Valentina. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in 2004 because of another woman.

The Mexican singer was then linked with Linda Alarcon and Paris Hilton. He then dated Ayari Anaya for seven years, and at the end of 2019, he was romantically linked with Ana Paula Valle.
