Brandon McMillan is a two-time Emmy-winning television personality best known as the host and trainer of the CBS series Lucky Dog. His passion for rescuing unadoptable dogs deemed ‘untrainable’ from city shelters and then rehabilitating and training them to become the perfect companions is heartening and inspiring as well. 

Originally from Trenton, New Jersey, Brandon McMillan was born on April 29, 1977, under the star sign Taurus. The 46-year-old animal trainer is American by nationality and belongs to Caucasian ethnicity. His educational qualification is not known.

Initially, McMillan worked for his uncle’s animal training company, where he served for almost 15 years. He made his first TV appearance in 2009 when he started hosting the Animal Planet series Night. A year later, he opened a dog boarding and training facility outside LA and began training therapy dogs and service dogs.

In 2013, McMillan became a host and animal trainer in the CBS hit series Lucky Dog. The show earned him two Daytime Emmy Award in 2015 and 2018. He appeared in a total of 182 episodes on the show. On 24 October 2020, he announced his departure from the show as a host.
