Jeffrey Philip LaBar, best known as the guitarist for the band Cinderella, died at the age of 58. He was a key component in the band’s 1986 debut record ‘Night Sounds’, which was certified triple platinum by 1991. He had joined the band in 1985 and remained in the band through 2017.

Jeff LaBar Net Worth and Salary
LaBar linked up with Cinderella in 1985, after founding guitarist Michael Schermick departed from the band. He remained in the band through 2017. In 1986, the band released their debut album, Night Songs. The LP’s breakthrough single Nobody’s Fool reached Number 13, and the album hit Number 3 on the Billboard 200. They subsequently toured with Poison, David Lee Roth, and Bon Jovi.

Their power ballad Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone) from the 1988’s album Long Cold Winter hit Number 12 on Billboard Hot 100. Cinderella went on hiatus in 1995. A year later, they returned for a tour and continued to tour in the early 2000s. They marked their 20th anniversary of their debut album in 2006. In 2017, after years of inaction, Keifer announced that Cinderella wouldn’t reunite.
LaBar also worked on side projects, including one with Cinderella bandmate Eric Brittingham called Naked Beggars. He released his debut solo album One for the Road in 2014. He toured in support of his solo record with his son Sebastian and Jasmine Cain.
Over the years, Cinderella had plenty of success, selling over 15 million records worldwide and getting plenty of MTV airplay in the 1980s. LaBar was one of the longest-serving band members and did quite well from a financial point of view. According to Celebrity Net Worth, LaBar had a net worth of $3 million at the time of his death.

LaBar was first married to Gaile LaBar-Bernhardt. They reportedly hosted a radio show, ‘Late Night with the Labars’ on Realityradio.biz. Sebastian is his son from this marriage.

It’s unclear when LaBar and Gaile divorced, but LaBar married a second time – this time with Debinique LaBar. Not much is known about their marriage. But the two have reportedly been together for over 15 years.
Jeff LaBar Death Cause and Funeral
LaBar, best known as the guitarist for the glam metal band Cinderella, died on 14 July 2021, aged 58, in Nashville, Tennessee. His son Sebastian confirmed the news of his death via a social media post.
The cause of death was not disclosed. But his ex-wife Gaile LaBar-Bernhardt discovered him unconscious after not hearing from him in a few days.

Sebastian wrote on Instagram:
“My father, my hero, my idol, passed away today. I’m currently at a loss for words. I love you pop!.” “If you could, please share pictures or video of all the fun times we all had with my dad. It would be greatly appreciated.”
Before his passing, LaBar admitted to having a substance abuse problem. But it is not known if this was the cause of his death at this time.
